Nestled between Sugarloaf Mountain and the Snowy Range, Lewis Lake is an alpine lake in the Medicine Bow National Forest, southern Wyoming.

What struck me about this lake was the rocks and rugged terrain surrounding it, as well as the pristine beauty of the lake itself.

At dawn, the magic light of the day unfolds at over 10,500 feet, which gives the lake a gentle glow among the majestic mountains.
